For wax, pour a little cooler to preserve face and paw features; use as melts or toppers (if you want a wicked mini, set a short wick pin in a metal cup or drill after cure—always test-burn safely).

For resin, brush a thin seal coat to lock in inclusions (gold leaf, shimmer, micro-confetti), then fill slowly to avoid microbubbles along edges; go easy with flame/heat to protect the silicone.

For clay (air-dry/polymer), press from centre outward, level the back before release, and pierce a tiny hole pre-cure if making hang tags.

Care: rinse with mild soap and water, no abrasives/knives, keep away from direct flame/overheating, and store flat to prevent warping—simple habits that keep impressions sharp across many pours.
