Why makers love it
-
High strength: a few drops color a full jar—great value and precise control
-
Smooth dispersion: mixes quickly at wax temps, no specks or undissolved chips
-
Blendable: create custom tones (e.g., teal = blue + green; rose = red + white)
-
Consistent results: bottled with dropper tips for repeatable batch formulas
-
Wide wax compatibility: soy, paraffin, beeswax, coconut & blends (not for gel)
Use guide (start here)
-
Pastel: 1–3 drops per 100 g wax
-
Medium: 4–8 drops per 100 g wax
-
Deep/opaque: 9–15 drops per 100 g wax (generally ≤0.5% by weight)
-
Add dye to fully melted wax before fragrance, at the wax maker’s recommended temp; stir 2–3 minutes and test. Always wick-test colored candles.
Notes
-
For candles & wax melts only (not soap/cosmetics).
-
Shades vary by wax type, fragrance load, and cure—make a 50–100 g test first.
-
Store tightly closed, away from light/heat. Keep out of reach of children & pets.
Tip: For crisp, modern palettes that sell year-round, stock Black, White, Emerald, Teal, Royal Blue, and Burgundy alongside the classic Red, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Violet, and Chocolate.
