This listing is for a 3-cavity modak mould segment—perfect for small-batch production without buying the entire 15-cavity tray. It casts a classic modak profile that works across candle wax, epoxy/UV resin, and air-dry/polymer clay.

For wax, place the segment on a flat tray and pour a little cooler to preserve the ridges; use as melts/toppers or make mini candles by inserting a short wick pin (or drill for a wick after cure—always test-burn safely due to the wide base).

For resin, brush a thin seal coat to lock in inclusions (gold leaf, shimmer, dried petals), then fill slowly to minimise bubbles along the grooves; avoid aggressive torching to protect the silicone.

For clay, press from the centre outward, level the back before release, and pierce a tiny hole pre-cure if you’re making hanging tags.

Care & longevity: wash with mild soap and water, no abrasives/knives, keep away from direct flame/overheating, and store flat—simple habits that keep the modak details crisp over many pours. Spec reference (full tray): Modak, 15 cavities, ~29 × 17 cm tray, ~4 cm piece height; this product is a 3-cavity cut (1/5th of the tray).
